THE BERLOQUE PISTOL AS A BLANK PISTOL
After cocking the hammer, push in the release on the right front side, tilt the barrel and insert the percussion cap so that the shell fits into the chamber. Then push the release again, close the barrel and pull the trigger.

If the shell does not automatically eject after repeated tilting, it can be easily removed using an unloader. Do not lubricate the weapon! Remove the remaining powder with a piece of cloth.

FROM LOADING TO FLARING
THE BERLOQUE PISTOL AS A FLARE PISTOL
Load the pistol as explained above. screw the flare extention onto the barrel, insert the signal rocket with the opening inside, point pistol up and fire. The colored flare attains a height of approx. 25 meters.
The flare colors are: W=White, Y=Yellow, G=Green, R=Red

History
ONCE UPON A TIME THERE WAS AN IDEA
And this did not let off the respected master clockmaker and present-day proprietor’s grandfather any longer. the passionated precision mechanic set to his target to design the smallest pistol in the world. Thanks to his considerable talent, it was not long before he had the first specimen ready for series production.
And thus it is that ever since 1905, the Göbharter family business has been producing its so called berloque pistols and exporting them all over the world. The name ‘Berloque’ comes from french, incidentally, and means – perhaps not surprisingly for a name chosen by a clockmaker – ‘watch pendant’.
PRODUCTION
Precision, highest handicraft and technical sensitiveness create little, fine masterpieces.
Already since the beginning of the 20th century master Göbharter created those reliable machines of precision that are used in the traditional family business till this day. In 124 separate operations, from 15 separate parts this tiny pistols come into being.
